Orange Creamsicle Margaritas

After trying several recipes, a combination of each seems to have worked for me. You can go the easy route and try store-bought orange juice (I used Tropicana) as some recipes suggested, but it seemed to give the drink an aftertaste--freshly squeezed, no matter the recipe was the way to go. If you are making a large amount for a party, however, you can substitute with store-bought orange juice.

Ingredients:
4 oz Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
1.5 oz Tequila (if the flavor is too strong, cut back to 1 oz)
1 oz Cointreau or other Triple Sec
1 Small Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream
1/2 Cup Ice
Orange slice for garnish (optional)
Granulated Sugar (optional)

Prep:
Add all ingredient to a blender. Blend until smooth. If desired, rub the orange slice on the rim and then dip the rim into the sugar. Pour mixture into a glass and enjoy!
